creating a kleaner atlanta

Klean Energy Kulture helps communities, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations transition toward 100% clean energy while creating healthier buildings, stronger local economies, and a more resilient future.

Our Story

Klean Energy Kulture empowers the next generation of arts, culture, and environmental leaders by creating innovative programs, experiences, and community activations that connect creativity, sustainability, and social impact.

Through culturally responsive education, workforce development opportunities, and community engagement initiatives, Klean Energy Kulture expands access to clean energy knowledge and sustainable living practices for Black and Brown communities that have historically been excluded from conversations and investments related to environmental resilience. By centering equity, culture, and collective action, the organization cultivates informed leaders who are equipped to advance healthier, more sustainable, and economically vibrant communities for future generations.

We treat culture as a critical community and economic development infrastructure strategy.

We use culture as a bridge and connection tool for the climate and environmental justice movement.

We believe that culture drives lifestyle choices and that everyone deserves a safe, clean, resilient, and beautiful community to call home.

We exist as an ecosystem accelerator to convene and educate artists, musicians, storytellers, journalists, community organizers, cultural leaders, and regular people who want to move the needle for their communities.

Community First

Clean energy solutions should be designed with and for the people they serve.

Equity Matters

The transition to clean energy must include small businesses, nonprofits, and historically underserved communities.

Culture Is Infrastructure

Salons, churches, schools, clinics, and neighborhood businesses are more than buildings. They are anchors of community life.

Economic Opportunity Is Essential

Clean energy should create local jobs, reduce operating costs, and strengthen neighborhood economies.
